Quest Boards by Made in Mars Made in Mars is a rethinking of what a board sports company is all about. Due to our alien company culture, we embraced the Made in Mars name. Looking around we saw a lot of companies in our Biz, many that were doing a good, and sometimes even a great job at making boards and trying to fit into the Action Sports lifestyle . This was all great, but it just wasn t for us. We design and make our own product, so we know what we are asking you to spend your money on. Next we wanted to offer the best of the tradition brands, and by working with some of the real pioneers of the Skateboard, Surf and Snow Board world, help reinvent them using today s best components, great fresh art and new technology. We also dreamed up a couple of brand new initiatives, because one size never fits all. We did all this, keeping better components and the highest quality. Trust us that isn t easy and definitely makes for some long days
Customer reviews5 star but not perfect
I am going with 5 stars because of price. This complete longboard has very nice wheels nice trucks and the deck is really nice as well. The deck is concaved and is real solid, has minimal flex, killer graphics looks more like a 100 plus board . The grip tape is on the cheap side and cut back on the top of the round edge exposing the wood edge of the deck on the top about 1 4in. so I will be replacing that and cutting the tape the right way. The trucks are solid and are a little tight so I loosened them up and expect a break in period, only time can tell if I am going to upgrade the bushings. I bought new bearings right away as I test rode with my wife and could tell they needed to be upgraded and from reading reviews I knew before I bought it that it would need them. I bought the Sector 9 ABEC 5 s for 10 dollars on amazon very high quality just as good as bones reds and unleashed this boards potential, super fast and smooth as butter, and as I said the wheels are super nice and rival Sector 9 s soft compound wheels, they have a real soft feel and compound good for cruising, carving and are very stable at 70mm wide. The bearings for the money are a must. For 64 dollars total I have a solid, smooth, stable and very stylish board for my wife. In conclusion I found this to be the best deal on a pintail concave even when compared to cheap boards, if you are ok with minor upgrades and don t want to break the bank this is a good choice.
